Aranese (in Occitan: aranés [araˈnes]) is a variety of the Occitan language, belonging to the Gascon dialect, spoken in Aran Valley, in Spain, on the northern slope of the Pyrenees.

Aran Valley is the sole place where Occitan is recognized and implemented as an official language.
